I am from Formentera, the smallest of the Balearic Islands.

Having grown up in that summertime tourist destination and in a family specialising in the tourism business, I got to socialise a lot with travellers from across the world and pick up aspects of different cultures and languages. For instance, I speak Spanish, French, Catalan, Italian, and English.

I also understand German to an extent, and now that I’m hosting Airbnb guests, I have found that my immense cultural experience, knowledge of tourism, and multilingualism are a major stepping stone to communicating seamlessly with my guests and giving them a memorable experience.

I am a traveller myself who has seen a lot of places around the world, and my travel experience informs my hosting decisions. In fact, when I first visited Essaouira, Morocco, (that is, following my mother’s relocation from Formentera to that city in North Africa), I had expectations like any other traveller. There were a number of room amenities I knew I couldn’t do without on that trip. A fast internet connection, for instance.

This is why for years I have been working diligently, anchoring on my experiences as a guest and my passion for interior design to create for my guests a most conducive and cosy place to stay while in Essaouira. I want other people to feel more relaxed than I was on my first trip to Morocco. I want to offer you a place that reflects essential hotel amenities. I want to give you the European experience right here in Morocco.
